Hello, and thanks for visiting this jewelry-making website. I’m Rainbow Sue and I began making jewelry about fifteen years ago, taking old pieces apart and creating wonderful new ones, like the elephant necklace in this photograph. Though a dual citizen of Canada and the United States, my three children were born in South Africa, and this necklace symbolizes both Africa, which I dearly love, and their birth on that intriguing continent.
I use a wide variety of materials in my jewelry creations from antique beads and findings to all new materials you see in the latest styles.
Jewelry-making, like other art forms, can be a wonderful means of creative expression, making pieces for the sheer joy it brings, or creating beautiful, personalized “gifts” for ourselves or others. It’s also a means of making money. Whatever your interests in jewelry-making, I hope you’ll find lots of helpful material on this website.
Beginning in January, 2020 I’ll be teaching classes in jewelry-making at Pecan Plantation in Granbury, Texas. You can find all the details in the Classes section.
Way to go Sue:)
